I left school at 16 and decided to accept an apprenticeship at British Gas as a service engineer. I was offered an electrical apprenticeship at Vauxhall’s but decided being out and about working in customers’ homes would suit me better.
With 19 years of experience, I decided to leave and in 2001 I set up my own business and never looked back.
Within weeks I knew I had made the right decision. I liked being my own manager and with the knowledge, experience and ability was able to deliver a service to customers that was based on quality, professionalism and very high standards.
